To copy an asset using the Asset Maintenance form:

1. Select the asset to copy and press the Copy the selected Asset button.

   

2. The Create asset form opens, displaying the attributes of the selected asset and with the Start Date defaulting to the current date. If the asset type has XSPs defined against it, you will also need to select the required XSP value.

   

3. Edit the attributes and location of the asset as required for the new asset and press Save. For more information on Asset Editing please refer to the Editing Assets topic.
